Privacy Policy

The Short Version

This website does not ask you to create an account, does not run a newsletter sign-up, and does not sell anything directly. When you click an order button you leave for the official checkout, and anything you type there is governed by that operator's policy rather than this one. The only personal information we hold is what you choose to put in an email to us.

What This Site Collects

Analytics

We use standard web analytics to see which pages are read, which are ignored and whether anything is broken. That produces aggregate figures: pages viewed, approximate region, browser and device type, and where a visit arrived from. We do not attempt to identify individual readers from it and there is nothing in it that names you.

Server logs

Like every web server, the one hosting this site records requests: IP address, timestamp, the file requested and the browser's self-description. These are kept for a short period for security and diagnostics, then discarded.

Email

If you write to [email protected], we hold your address and whatever you wrote for as long as it takes to deal with your question and a reasonable period afterwards. We do not add it to a mailing list, and we do not use it for anything except replying to you.

Cookies

Analytics may set a cookie. Following an order link may set an affiliate cookie that records that the visit came from this website, which is how the commission described below is attributed. Neither carries your name.

Every browser lets you block or delete cookies, usually under privacy or site settings. This site works normally with them blocked.

What We Never Do

• Sell, rent or trade your email address to anyone
• Add you to a mailing list because you wrote to us once
• Ask for payment details on this domain — we cannot take payment here
• Ask for medical information, and we would rather you did not send any
• Attempt to identify individual readers from analytics
• Run advertising trackers or retargeting pixels

Where Your Data Goes When You Order

The order buttons on this site open the official checkout in a new tab. From that point you are dealing with the merchant that operates it: they take your name, address and payment details, they process the transaction, they ship the parcel and they handle refunds. We never see your payment information and we do not receive a copy of your order.

Read that operator's privacy policy on their own site before you pay. It is the one that governs your purchase.

Third Parties

Two external services are involved in loading a page here: a font service that delivers the typefaces, and the analytics provider. Both receive an IP address in the ordinary course of serving a request, as any external resource does. No customer data is shared with either, because we do not hold any.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live you may have a right to ask what personal information is held about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to object to certain processing. Since the only personal information we are likely to hold is an email exchange, exercising these is simple: write to [email protected] and ask, and we will confirm in writing what has been done.

Children

This site and this product are intended for adults over eighteen. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and if you believe a child has sent us something, write to us and it will be deleted.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS. Email is not an encrypted medium end to end, so please do not send anything through it you would not be comfortable having sit in an inbox — medical details in particular.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. There is no archive of previous versions; the current one is the one that applies.
